خلش ہجر دائمی نہ گئی
تیرے رخ سے یہ بے رخی نہ گئی

پوچھتے ہیں کہ کیا ہوا دل کو
حسن والوں کی سادگی نہ گئی

سر سے سودا گیا محبت کا
دل سے پر اس کی بے کلی نہ گئی

اور سب کی حکایتیں کہہ دیں
بات اپنی کبھی کہی نہ گئی

ہم بھی گھر سے منیرؔ تب نکلے
بات اپنوں کی جب سہی نہ گئی
